What to Expect
Step One - Get Acquainted MeetingOur website contains a lot of great information but it is no substitute for a face to face meeting. If it seems like our firm is a good match for you, we encourage you to call our office and schedule a complimentary “get acquainted” meeting. This meeting typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour. During this meeting, we want to hear more about you and what you are looking for in a trusted advisor. We will also tell you more about our firm and the services that we provide.
Step Two – The Paperwork
Once you have decided that you would like to work with us, we will send you an Investment Advisory Agreement to sign and return. We will also send you the paperwork necessary to open accounts with our Custodian. Once the new accounts are opened, we will begin the process of transferring your accounts.
Step Three – Preparing the Baseline Plan and Asset Allocation Plan
Early on in our relationship, we will prepare a baseline financial plan. The results of this plan guide the asset allocation decision.
Step Four – Monitoring Performance and Progress
The baseline financial plan will likely change over time. You may change jobs, send children to college or retire. We will meet with you on a regular basis to ensure that your plan is keeping up with the changes in your life.
